Dr. Marcus Weldon is the Chair of the Advisory Board of SEGUENTE Inc, where he manages advisory board members’ goals and their relationship with the company’s CEO. He was the former Corporate Chief Technology Officer for Nokia and was responsible for coordinating the technical strategy and driving technological and architectural innovations into multiple business groups. In addition, as President of Bell Labs, Dr. Weldon was responsible for defining and creating disruptive innovations and pioneering research that will form the foundation of the future ICT industry. He is considered one of the luminaries in the ICT industry in terms of the clarity, depth, and breadth of his vision. He has won numerous technical, scientific and engineering society awards for his work and leadership throughout his career but is arguably best known for his ability to distill complex, multi-dimensional problems into the essential ‘simple’ answer or solution that should be pursued. For this reason, he is highly sought after as an advisor to governmental agencies and departments in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and around the world, as well as for venture capitalists and private equity funds, and the larger investment community. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Chemistry from King’s College in London, UK.
Rajeev Singh-Molares is an advisory board member of SEGUENTE Inc., supporting the company’s business and sales objectives. He is the co-founder of Alma Mundi Ventures and the Managing Partner of ALM Fund 1 and 2. He was the CEO of DHL Global Forwarding EMA based in Basel, Switzerland. Previously he was also Executive Vice President of Alcatel-Lucent and President of the Asia-Pacific Region. In that role, he oversaw the company's sales and operations and was a member of the Alcatel-Lucent Management Committee. Previously, he was the Chief Strategy Officer for Alcatel-Lucent, a global role that included defining and implementing the company’s strategy including overall portfolio composition, growth initiatives, and transformation programs. Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, Mr. Singh-Molares was a Senior Partner at the Monitor Group, a global professional services firm that combines strategy consulting and merchant banking. While at Monitor, in Cambridge, Massachusetts and London, he held several senior management positions responsible for client development and relationships, regional operations and consulting. Before that, Mr. Singh-Morales worked at Chemical Bank in the Banking and Corporate Finance Group, Latin America Division based in New York. He holds a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service, and a master’s degree in international Affairs with a concentration in business from Yale University.
Dr. Victor Adrian Chiriac is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) since 2014. He has made outstanding industry wide contributions to the art and science of thermal management and cooling of electronic packages and portable consumer electronic devices with focus on wireless technologies in the smart phones, tablets, laptops, IoT, AR/VR devices, automotive and beyond.
Since 2019, Dr. Victor Adrian Chiriac is a co-founder and a managing partner with the Global Cooling Technology Group in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He previously held technology/engineering leadership roles with Motorola (1999-2010), Qualcomm (2010 - 2018) and Huawei R&D USA (2018 - 2019). In his previous leadership technology roles, Victor defined and drove the companies’ overall thermal technology roadmaps for developing state of the art cooling solutions at the chip, electronic package and system level product implementation.
During his Qualcomm tenure, Victor drove the novel/breakthrough thermal technology development from design phase through prototype manufacturing and testing. He collaborated across global business lines, senior management, and external customers in resolving major thermal issues and delivering multiple thermal technology projects on time, on budget, and to specification.
Dr. Chiriac was elected Chair of the ASME K-16 Electronics Cooling Committee and was elected IMAPS Chapter President for Arizona and New Mexico. He is a leading member of the organizing committees of ASME/InterPack, ASME IMECE and IEEE/CPMT ITherm Conferences. He holds 22 U.S. issued patents, 4 Patents in review, 2 trade secrets and one U.S. defensive publication, and has published over 120 papers in scientific journals. He earned his Ph. D. (1999) in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. He holds a Corporate Executive Leadership Training certificate with Qualcomm Inc, San Diego, California.
